This is a nice short ride but I recommend stopping in at wabamun at the social brew cafe for amazing coffee home made baking, great tasting food and huge ice creams along the way it has an awesome outdoor patio and the owner said they are getting their liquor license if you want a quick cold one.
I wish I knew how to edit my route, but the first two star ratings are in the context of being in the Edmonton area. Compared to many other places in North America those would be about 2, maybe 3 stars - not 4. But for Edmonton it´s a 4.
It´s about the closest you get to a ride with curves around Edmonton, and an excellent breakfast.Start at the Tim Hortons just off Ellerslie road, south of the garden centre, then take the scenic route through Calmar and Ma-me-o Beach to ´The Village At Pigeon Lake´ in Westerose. There you can enjoy a great breakfast on the patio at the ´ Eco Cafe´ restaurant. After brekkie, continue around the lake and head over to Genessee, then over yo Seba Beach. On the way back, don´t miss the gorgeous but somewhat bumpy ´Parkland Drive´. Work your way back into the city the pretty way and back to the starting point. If you leave at about 07:45 am you´ll be home around lunchtime.
