As already mentioned, its a good road, quite a fast pace as lots of visibility and straights, corners are predictable with no nastys. When you get to Harborough hook through to the Uppingham road, stop off at Medbourne for a jar by the stream running by the pub, then continue to Uppingham. Pleasant road, especially if you continue on with the ride B6047 : Market Harborough - Melton Mowbray

A good way to avoid going north on the M1. This route links very nicely to Melton-Mowbray ending up eventually on the A19 just south of York. Predominantly straight, although there are some cheeky bends to catch you out. Be aware of the local lads in their mums Corsa who dont appreciate you overtaking them!
