A circular run from the Shell Station on the A31 @ Picket Post. As ever in the New Forest: Watch out for Horse Riders and Wild Ponies, be alert and give them a wide berth. A little Diversion: Between the A31 underpass and the redshoot there is a turn on the right toward Fritham. This takes you down the old main runway of former RAF Stoney Cross. Its about 2 miles straight with a bend in the middle. On this drag its possible to achieve speeds well within the speed limit.
